Disney+ is a streaming service for Disney and all of its subsidiaries it is accessible globally through the internet or as an app, you can watch it through the app on an iPhone or an android, on a smart Tv, on a PS4 or Xbox. It costs £5.99 a month or £59.99 a year. It allows up to 4 devices to be watching at once and can have up to 7 profiles allowing for the whole family however large of small it may be.

There is a vast range of content on the platform available to people of all different audience types , all of that content is on there so that the target audience is the majority of people. They also allow for more customisability on their platform allowing users to chose their name and profile picture while also recommending them programmes to watch based on their viewing history. They have adapted their platform so all of that is accessible no matter the device using showing they can adapt their platform as the technology is moves further into the futre. They are targeted by showing the mass range of media available such as in the print ad you can see films such as Star wars, marvel films but also Disney princess such as snow white and even nature documentaries under national geographic.

there is little data on Disney+ as it has only recently been released the only numbers i can find are that as of April Disney+ has 50 million subscribers since it first launched in 12 November 2019. The reason the numbers are so large in such a short space of time is the diversity of the platform and the people that they target all mixed in with the price help to make it so successful. The advertising campaign successfully sold itself by previewing a lot of different types of media meaning people who viewed it most likely saw something that they would be interested in viewing.

Disney+ is accessible through a smart device connected to the internet. There are multiple different platforms that it is available on those being phones, tablets, laptops, PCs, smart televisions, gaming devices and through the website. All of these platforms are available so it entices people to buy it as they can use it on most if not all of the devices they own. People watch it by logging on to their own personal account on the device of their choosing. This is successful as it is customized to each person through their profile and it is also available on most/all of their devices meaning they can watch it anywhere as long as they have some sort of WiFi connection, or if they dont have WiFi they can download programs to watch offline. They chose this method to make it accessible whenever wherever to anyone.

the different audiences are reached through the many different platforms Disney owns, an example of these are their social media sites and their own TV channel through these to only name a few they can reach audiences of all ages and genders, weather that be their star wars Instagram or even the Disney princess Instagram. This is done to increase the different audience types being sold this platform. 

The brand is advertised to have something for everyone the method of doing this is to show the wide range of media available in a small space of time of small shot such as seen in the print ad with the variety of different media they show this method is used to target large audiences all in the space of one ad. They also use social media where they have a page for most audience types weather it be marvel or national geographic nature documentaries



Disney+ is endorsed by many different celebrity's as a lot of them feature on the platform actors such as tom hanks who is in toy story or even Harrison ford who is in star wars plus many more. They are featured in the ads so by showing the characters they play the image that they portray in the media is used to endorse or sell Disney +


Disney+ can be used in conjunction with Apple TV, google chrome-cast, Sony and Roku devices, desktop browsers, PS4 and Xbox

The smart TV makes Disney+ much more widely available as now it is not just an app to be used it can be added to TV's and be used as a TV in some cases more than free view TV. This pushed Disney plus to have a wider variety of movies and TV to make people want to use it more than free view as it has more to offer and all on-demand with no Ad,s. Disney+ has already amassed 28 million+ subscribers showing they are successful with their advertising campaign. Especially when competing with big brands such as Netflix and amazon prime.
